Direction for use
Heat two cups of water. Make a paste of Isha Bajra Porridge and water. Add this paste to the boiling water. Stir to cook the porridge for 5 to 10 minutes. Remove from flame and set aside to cool for about 1 hour. Mix in buttermilk, sufficient water and salt. Garnish with coriander and mint, or your favourite toppings, and serve at room temperature.
Best Before Nov 2019- Pearl Millet has a very short best before date (6 months from manufacturing in India) and as a result by the time they reach Australia they are half way through their expiry period. These are safe to consume and may retain their taste, texture and flavour for more than 6-8 months after this date when stored properly.
