Angaya Rice Mix, 100 gm - (Best Before Mar 2020)
Angaya podi (powder) is used traditionally in Tamil Nadu to flush out impurities from the stomach, cure indigestion and rejuvenate the digestive system. This rice mix is also ideal for new mothers who want to shed their post-pregnancy weight gain and for those looking to attain a perfect figure.
Coriander, fried gram, pepper, neem flowers, curry leaves, sundakkai (Turkey berry/Solanum Torvum) salt, cumin, dry ginger, red chillies and asafoetida.
Add one or two teaspoons of the Angaya Rice Mix to hot cooked rice and pour a teaspoon of gingelly or sesame oil over the powder. Mix well and eat.
Best Before Mar 2020 - Rice mix has a very short best before date (6 months from manufacturing in India) and as a result by the time they reach Australia they are half way through their expiry period. This is safe to consume and may retain their taste, texture and flavour for more than 6-8 months after this date when stored properly.
